Sandend is a textbook example of whisky in the coastal style, and an excellent illustration of how whisky aged right by the sea evolves during maturation. It's a mild and easy-drinking whisky, almost gentle despite its high alcohol content. It's an excellent sipping dram to start off a tasting or to conclude a fine dinner.
Golden bronze
Buttery, vanilla ice cream with hints of fruit salad, tropical fruits, chocolate, and a slight touch of sea salt.
Salted caramel and an almost effervescent explosion of pineapple, cherries, and grapefruit.
