As stipulated in the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, a “bonded” whiskey must be distilled by a single distillery during a single season, matured in a government bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof/50% alc.
Jack Daniel’s Bonded is Jack’s time-honoured recipe of 80% corn, 12% malted barley and 8% rye. Barrels are carefully selected for their unique and special characteristics with deeper color, taste and aroma. It brings a darker, richer and more oak-forward character to Jack Daniel’s Bonded. It’s a big, bold 100 proof Tennessee Whiskey with layered notes of caramel, rich oak and spice that give way to a pleasantly long finish.

Glendronach Port Wood has undergone a final maturation for three years in Ruby and Tawny port casks from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. Prior to that, it was aged for six years in both PX and Oloroso casks, which are Glendronach's signature. The name comes from Archibald Lauder, who owned a shop in Glasgow and had the idea to create his own whisky in 1834. It took him two years to perfect it. Already in the 19th century, Lauder's became very popular and won awards in competitions both in Europe and the USA.
