Maisel’s master brewers have adhered to the traditional production method of “Bavarian noble maturation” for generations. Sandend is a textbook example of whisky in the coastal style, and an excellent illustration of how whisky aged right by the sea evolves during maturation. It's a mild and easy-drinking whisky, almost gentle despite its high alcohol content. It's an excellent sipping dram to start off a tasting or to conclude a fine dinner.
Glendronach Peated
Glendronach Peated is a single malt for all who appreciate a classic whisky with complex mainland smoke, as well as for all fans of Glendronach who want to discover an older side of the distillery. The smokiness is not as overpowering as some other smoky varieties. Here, smoke and peat interact with a broader flavor profile where other aromas and flavors emerge. It's a whisky primarily meant to be enjoyed on its own, preferably with a drop of water. It can also contribute depth and smoke to chocolate desserts.
Glendronach Port Wood - 700 ml
Glendronach Port Wood has undergone a final maturation for three years in Ruby and Tawny port casks from the Douro Valley in northern Portugal. Prior to that, it was aged for six years in both PX and Oloroso casks, which are Glendronach's signature. The result is an exceptionally fruity and full-bodied heavyweight whisky with plenty of aromas and flavors. Master blender Dr. Rachel Barrie is behind the composition. The concluding port cask maturation brings out dark berries, blackcurrants, cranberries, and woodland tones.
Glendronach Parliament - 21 Years - 700 ml
Glendronach 21 YO Parliament takes its name from the "parliament," or in Swedish, the colony, of rooks that inhabit the trees near the distillery. The rook is the most beautiful of our corvids, a celebrated gastronomic delicacy in parts of the country, and known for building its nests in branches that barely support its raven-black beauty. Glendronach 21 YO Parliament is aged in the "heaviest" Oloroso and Pedro Ximenes sherry casks for at least 21 years. During such a long maturation, a whisky with a significant influence from the cask and its previous contents develops. Parliament is bottled at a full 48% ABV to preserve as much of its flavor richness as possible.
Glendronach Allardice - 18 Years - 700 ml
GlenDronach 18 YO Allardice has been aged in Oloroso sherry casks for 18 years. It is bottled at 46% ABV and has obtained its rich natural color from the cask aging.

Most distilleries long ago abandoned this old-fashioned and labor-intensive method and instead buy pre-malted barley from central maltings. To further enhance the traditional style, they have chosen to use the Concerto barley variety. It was once very common, but is hardly used anymore in Scotland.

To compose Benriach The Thirty, master blender Rachel Barrie has used 30-year-old whisky and four different types of casks. The color is dark mahogany and the aroma reveals notes of plum, orange chocolate, walnuts, and a gentle and pleasant Benriach smoke. The taste features sublime honeyed tones, dark chocolate, and raisins, enhanced with layers of mature oak, cask, and vinous notes from the aging process. In the finish, dark fruits, walnuts, and a velvety, long, complex, and lightly smoky honeyed finish emerge.

This Single Cask from Benriach is aged in an Oloroso sherry puncheon cask. It's bottled at a strength of 52.6% ABV and was 28 years old at the time of bottling.

However, Benriach creates three types of whisky, which they age in numerous casks from around the world. From the four stills, Benriach annually produces well over two million liters of new make spirit. This includes lightly peated spirit in the classic Speyside style, heavily peated, and also triple-distilled spirit.
